Protect the low-hanging rear differential on your 2021+ Ford Bronco with the RCI Off Road Rear Differential Skid Plate, part #RCI-BRONCO-DIFF.

Designed specifically for the 6th-generation Ford Bronco, this heavy-duty differential skid is CNC laser cut and brake formed from 3/16-inch steel to protect the rear differential from rocks, ledges and other on- and off-road hazards.

The skid clamps directly to the Bronco's axle housing for an easy no-drill installation and hugs the differential tightly to provide substantial protection with minimal loss of ground clearance.

Protect Your Bronco's Rear Differential

The rear differential is one of the lowest drivetrain components underneath the Ford Bronco and is particularly vulnerable when traveling over rocks, ledges and uneven terrain.

A direct impact to the differential housing can potentially result in expensive drivetrain damage or leave your Bronco disabled on the trail.

The RCI Rear Differential Skid Plate creates a heavy-duty 3/16-inch steel barrier around the lower portion of the differential to help protect it from direct contact with trail obstacles.

It's an excellent upgrade for Broncos used for:

  • Off-roading

  • Rock crawling

  • Overlanding

  • Trail driving

  • Camping

  • Hunting and backcountry travel

  • Technical terrain

  • General underbody protection

Minimal Loss of Ground Clearance

Adding underbody protection shouldn't unnecessarily reduce your Bronco's ground clearance.

RCI designed the RCI-BRONCO-DIFF to hug the differential housing within approximately 1/4 inch, keeping the skid tucked tightly against the axle assembly.

This provides substantial protection while minimizing the amount of ground clearance sacrificed by installing a rear differential skid plate.

Heavy-Duty 3/16" Steel Construction

RCI manufactures the Bronco Rear Differential Skid Plate from 3/16-inch steel for excellent strength and impact resistance.

Unlike some RCI skid plates that are available in both steel and aluminum, RCI-BRONCO-DIFF is specifically constructed from 3/16" steel.

The skid is finished in durable black powder coat for corrosion resistance and a clean appearance underneath the vehicle.

Easy No-Drill Installation

The RCI rear differential skid plate clamps directly to the Bronco's axle housing.

NO DRILLING REQUIRED.

The clamping design allows the skid to be securely mounted without drilling or permanently modifying the axle housing.

All required installation hardware and instructions are included.

Drainage & Differential Service Access

RCI incorporates strategically positioned drain holes into the skid plate.

These openings allow:

  • Water to drain

  • Mud and dirt to escape

  • Debris to be washed from the skid

  • Full access to the factory differential drain plug

This allows routine differential fluid service without requiring removal of the skid plate.

Updated RCI Design

RCI updated the RCI-BRONCO-DIFF design in 2022 with several improvements.

The updated design features:

  • Taller rear skid plate flange

  • Revised axle clamping mechanism

  • Fully fixtured construction

  • Robot-welded assembly

These revisions provide improved consistency, strength and protection compared with the earlier design.

Build a Complete RCI Bronco Skid Plate System

The rear differential skid is an excellent stand-alone upgrade, but it can also complement other RCI underbody protection for the 2021+ Ford Bronco.

Depending on your Bronco's engine and configuration, RCI offers additional protection for areas such as:

  • Engine

  • Transmission

  • Transfer case

  • Fuel tank

  • Lower control arms

  • Rear differential

This allows you to build your Bronco's underbody protection in stages or create a more comprehensive armor package for serious off-road use.

Bronco Raptor Compatibility

DOES NOT FIT FORD BRONCO RAPTOR.

RCI specifically excludes the Bronco Raptor from RCI-BRONCO-DIFF fitment.

Do not assume compatibility based solely on the Bronco nameplate. Bronco Raptor models use different suspension, axle and underbody components.
