Installation – Drilling Required

IMPORTANT: Installation requires drilling.

RCI designed each skid to use a solid mounting system that secures the front edge directly to the vehicle frame.

Installation requires drilling two holes to properly secure the front edge of the skid plates to the frame.

RCI includes the required installation hardware and a heavy-duty replacement lower link bolt.

If you are not comfortable drilling into the vehicle frame or working with suspension mounting hardware, professional installation is recommended.
